This is an easy choice as it is located across the farmyard from Thorpe Garden. Built in the Victorian era, it has been recently beautifully renovated. It has been thoughtfully designed to a minimalist, scandi-inspired brief. This stunning guest house sleeps up to 40.

We are spoilt for choice in the area for accommodation.

The stand out though has to be Cuckney House. This is an 18th-century country manor house offering self-catering accommodation for up to 38 people in 15 bedrooms. Set in a secluded woodland with manicured grounds, tennis courts, a BBQ area and hot tubs. The house also has a stunning function room which seats up to 50. On the top our list is Healy Hall. It is a beautiful country house that is just a few minute drive from Healy Barn. It has 10 bedrooms that sleep 20 with eight bathrooms, a grand drawing room, dining room, large kitchen with an Aga.

Nestled in the prestigious Cirencester park, Ivy Lodge offers great food with excellent provenance, cooking over the open fire, fire pits and stunning views.

Featuring a beautiful barn with rustic timbers and a castle-like facade, the venue is surrounded by quintessentially English parkland with ancient oaks and the occasional summer polo match.

Ivy Lodge is spoilt for choice with accommodation options with it being so close to Cirencester.

We think it is definitely worth travelling a bit further out into the countryside at either our roadside inn, The Stump (18 minute drive) which has 10 rooms or our boutique hotel which has 15 rooms, The New Inn (24 minute drive) which is nestled in the chocolate box village of Coln St. Aldwyns.
