We may be biased, but Thorpe Garden is one of the most beautiful wedding venues we have seen.
Everything about Thorpe is perfect. The service and communication has been incredible through the whole process, starting from our very first viewing. Ourselves and our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue looked on the wedding day, and we hardly needed to add any flowers or decorations (but a big shout out to Tara Knott our stylist and Ivison Lichfield Florist for adding those special extra touches).
Thorpe Garden is the perfect venue for any type of weather, something we needed to consider for a British Spring time! The inside areas are breathtaking, with gorgeous large windows to give you that feel of being outside, and the outside areas are equally as beautiful. We were lucky enough that the rain held off for our wedding day so we could all enjoy the scenery and the well kept gardens.
The food at Thorpe Garden was definitely one of the highlights of our day, and something our guests still talk about now. The quality of the food service was excellent and I felt very confident that all of our guests' dietary requirements were taken care of. The open kitchen and outdoor pizza oven added that little unique touch and some of our guests enjoyed watching the chefs hard at work.
I would recommend Thorpe Garden to anyone getting married. It is a beautiful, stylish venue with a cool, informal vibe, all the while maintaining high standards and professional service. I really hope we are able to attend another gorgeous wedding at Thorpe Garden in the future!

We had our wedding here Easter weekend 2024 and it was entirely perfect! The grounds were beautiful and the blossom made great photos.
Everything was easy and we felt well catered for, no request felt too much and the staff were highly accommodating. The venue is so gorgeous, fairy lights everywhere in the yurt, which meant we didn't have to waste money on lots of decorations. The food was incredible, we went with the rotisserie chicken which was delicious and the portion sizes were great. We actually had guests say it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Vegans and vegetarians were well catered for too. Lee was our coordinator on the day, he made us feel completely calm and at ease which was great. The team took care of all the set up which was guided by a set of instructions I typed up, this made me feel extremely stress free in the morning. They also collected all of our belongings and stored them in one place for us to easily collect in the morning. A couple of other bonus points included the make up house on site which me and the bridesmaids used to get ready in as well as Constantine House which has 21 bedrooms and a lovely open space to have breakfast together the next day.

Back in February 2023, my partner and I met with Lee at Thorpe Garden, instantly fell in love with the venue and booked our wedding day there and then. Since that day, we’ve had absolutely no regrets as the staff have made each step of the journey so smooth and helped us to create our perfect day.
In the lead up to the wedding, the staff worked with us to answer any questions and ensure that our wishes and requests were catered to. On the day of the wedding itself, they worked with us and our families to create a magical day. The venue is so incredibly beautiful and really allows for a relaxed yet sophisticated occasion. We were so lucky to get brilliant sunshine and enjoyed the trees in blossom but, upon visiting the venue in any season, were in awe of how beautiful it looked. We feel so lucky to have celebrated at Thorpe Garden and wish we could relive the day over and over again.

I photographed a wedding back here in 2022, it was the first time visiting Thorpe Garden even though I have been to all the other Cripps venues.
The main feature is the yurt in the centre of the venue, it was the hottest day of the year and this space is fully air conditioned which was so good, the venue staff were friendly and kept the water coming constantly.
The glass sided ceremony space was spacious and had great light. There were lots of places for couples portraits including some black shutter barns just outside the venues walls.

I have recently been a guest and bridesmaid at Thorpe Garden and wow what a venue!
The grounds, the main building and just everything was perfect. The stand out points were the amazing kitchen, waiting and bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble, they were happy to make conversation and humour us more inebriated guests when we told them how much we loved them.
The food was incredible in the day - the canapés, main meal and the evening meal.
You feel like you’re at home and with the house just across the road it is the perfect one stop shop for the perfect wedding. Thanks to all of the team who made my friends wedding simply incredible.

We got married at the beautiful Thorpe Garden, the day couldn't have been more perfect!
The venue looked amazing, the staff were incredible and the food was delicious. (We still get comments about our wedding food now!)
Even when our photographers got stuck on the motorway on the way to the wedding, Lee helped us to stay calm and kept us both up to date with what was going on. Due to this delaying the order of the day, Lee gave us our options and sorted it all out for us. In a situation which could've been stressful- we didn't feel stressed at all. And that's all down to Lee and the team.
Evie then took care of everything perfectly on the night - which was fab as the Proseccos had started to hit us! Nothing was too much trouble, and she was amazing at answering all the random bridal questions I had like when I was meant to take my veil off haha!
We felt so at home and comfortable at Thorpe, and without the help of your fabulous staff our day wouldn't have been as good. We are so so happy we chose our special day to take place at Thorpe Garden. It was everything and more that we could've asked for!

Thorpe Garden is the best wedding venue! We got married there in August and had the most fantastic day. The messaging system made it easy to organise and then on the day Lisa & Bailey our co-ordinators made everything go so smoothly. I don't think a single thing to do with the venue went wrong. Or maybe they just managed things so well we didn't notice. From early on we were put at ease, Lisa set up the venue with our decorations and instructions, it’s such a beautiful space. When I arrived and our registrar was running late, I was a little stressed and Lisa helped me to calm, relax and assured me it was not a problem. We and our guests LOVED the food, it was delicious, so much of it and everyone commented on how it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever eaten. The team made sure me and my husband were well looked after with drink and food to ensure we didn't miss out on anything. In the middle of summer Thorpe Garden is just the most stunning place, full of flowers and greenery. The next day the team had cleared out all our things into the snug which made it really easy to pack up our decorations into the car. Having Constantine House on site was great as it can accommodate up to 42 people, my husband was able to get ready there and I got ready at the glam room, also on site.

Thorpe Garden was the only wedding venue we viewed and from the moment we stepped foot inside their beautiful grounds we knew we had to book our wedding with them. Tom, Cara, Charlie, Evie and all the staff were exceptional. We visited a few times and had lots of questions over the months of planning and everyone was so helpful, informative but most of all friendly and it truly felt like the staff here were genuinely excited for you. No ask was too much, emails were responded to quickly and effectively. Any questions answered promptly too. They make you feel like you are the most important people! We had such a wonderful experience planning our wedding and enjoyed a wonderful feast night at Thorpe Garden prior to our wedding. This is such a unique and intimate experience! I DJ’ed at Thorpe Garden yesterday for the gorgeous A&K. I DJ at a lot of lovely luxe and boutique venues but Thorpe Gardens was a particularly gorgeous venue. From the countryside drive in to the venue is so pretty. The Yurt is luxe and fabulous, the walled garden is magical in the day & evening. A great party in the evening, super sound system. Staff are fab. Highly recommend this venue and if you need to DJ to rock it please get in touch.

Wow - where to start! The venue team were extremely friendly and helpful, and after our wedding planning meeting with Charlie we knew we were in safe hands. We saw the gorgeous venue in frosty January, and then saw it in bloom at our wedding in April with absolutely beautiful blossom. The set up was great in the Pavilion for our ceremony, and everything was done so professionally by the team. Cara was so amazing on the day, we always had a drink waiting for us and canapés kept aside especially for us too. We enjoyed that we could use the venue as a blank canvas but the decor and lighting already adds a level of ambience too. So many of our guests have since commented on how delicious the food was. We’re still very much on cloud 9 from the absolutely magical wedding we just had at Thorpe Garden on Easter Sunday. Wow! Cripps know how to organise an amazing wedding day. Everything runs smoothly, the venue is incredibly beautiful, food delicious and large portions, staff so accommodating and the event/wedding organisers are so experienced. There was no stress at any part of the day, that’s completely taken away from you and your job is to purely enjoy your special day. We had our wedding at Thorpe Garden in September this year and WOW - we 100% made the right venue choice. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests and some of them are even considering it for their own weddings.
First of all the venue itself is stunning, lots of photo opportunities and plenty of beautiful indoor and outdoor space. The food was perfect, pizzas in the evening were a huge hit! All of their communication was spot on, we had to move our original date due to my sister not being able to fly over from Australia - I was so worried we wouldn’t be able to but it wasn’t any trouble and the team were really understanding. We were allowed to visit the venue multiple times to make sure we were happy with everything we’d planned.
Charlie & the team were fabulous on the day, everything went exactly how we’d planned and they made running a wedding day seem so effortless - although I’m sure it’s much harder than it looked.
Highly recommend doing a taster evening, you get SO much for your money and it’s really helpful to make menu decisions.

What an amazing venue! We had a perfect wedding day and the guests are still talking about how amazing this venue was. We opted for the garden menu which was excellent value and delicious! You are able to design your day with the team from timings to table plans to decor etc and the team were fantastic right from the first contact. I’m shocked that more people don’t know about this place. They should! It had to be the only choice for us and on a much better budget than a few others we looked in to. Where to start with the team at Cripps & Co and Thorpe Garden. We could not have been looked after by a more supportive team. We were reassured at all points and everything was taken care of in such a helpful fashion. Communication with the team was always effortless over the website and we always received prompt, detailed replies to our many, many requests and queries. Thank you.
Now to the venue and the day itself. My wife visited Thorpe Garden while I was away and immediately fell in love with the walled garden, the wonderful yurt and beautiful, open space. I visited a short while later and had the same thoughts. For two years, we dreamt of a lovely summery day, our guests walking around the garden and having a great time. The team delivered this magnificently. Perhaps the only advantage of having the wedding delayed was that the garden had time to mature and become even more spectacular than when we first visited.
In the run up to the day, Tom and his team including Charlie were impressively organised ensuring that all our requests were covered. Nothing was ever too much trouble including late requests for additional drinks at our reception and the late addition of guests.
We attended a tasting night and were always excited to get to try our food choices two years later. The food on the day was exquisite with the wide of array of splendid canapés all being perfect. Our main meal was superb as were pizzas to finish the evening off. Our guests were never left wanting for anything at all.
We loved Thorpe Garden, such a beautiful setting. The walled garden was utterly lush and we felt a great privilege being able to get married in the lovely outdoor area. Despite a little bit of the typical summer showers, the yurt and pavilion areas provided plenty of cover after which our guests could once again enjoy the lawns and other green spaces.
The service we received both before and during our wedding was nothing short of exceptional. We had face to face meetings several times over the years at the venue and were always met with a smile and a cup of coffee. Tom and Charlie have displayed professionalism and a true love for their work. Everything in terms of decorations and the set up during the day was handled with minimal fuss, it was clear that the team and the staff were experienced and highly capable. The day ran smoothly and perfectly to time and our evening wedding manager Cara continued to look after us wonderfully, dropping everything to get my wife a pizza.
Our guests have been hugely complimentary of the venue, service, food and staff. We're almost gutted that we can't return to do it all again despite the undoubted stress of organising a wedding. We will treasure our memories of Thorpe Garden and once again can't thank the team, especially Tom, for everything they have done for us over the last two years. Thank you for the most perfect day.

The most amazing place to get married! The venue is just incredible. So much space, all day guests did not stop commenting on how amazing it was. Really well looked after and the yurt was so special in the evening with the fairy lights and dance floor. What a place! After difficult couple of years, we decided to have a summer party for our staff. Although Thorpe Garden is a wedding venue, they threw us an amazing party. Thorpe Gardens gave us the most beautiful wedding day! From the moment we first met with the team we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. This wedding venue caters for all, the kids spent all day outside playing with lawn games, the beautiful grounds and outdoor seating were amazing for socialising and the yurt was more than big enough for drinking and dancing. Where do I begin, we viewed this venue back in March 2019 before it was established and before the pavilion was even built. The lead up to the wedding, all our final planning meetings and little arrangements were made by Charlie who was always so helpful, understanding and friendly. We were one of the first bookings with Thorpe back in 2019 and they have been incredible. Honestly, they couldn't have done enough to make us feel like we were in the most capable hands and our day was more incredible than we could have ever imagined.

The wedding food was high quality, service was fantastic throughout and the whole day felt so smooth, allowing us to fully focus on enjoying the day with our guests. We booked this venue from drawings and a plot of land 2 years ago, so a bit of a wild card, we didn’t know how it was going to turn out but we were not disappointed. Tom and his team pulled out all the stops, making everything run smoothly. It was faultless, we couldn’t of asked for anymore from the team. Everybody commented on how amazing the food and venue were. We were blown away when we saw the venue all ready. Would do it all again tomorrow if we could. From our first meeting with the team at Thorpe, we were made to feel really special, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. During the planning Tom and Jennie were so reassuring, patient and in constant contact with us so we never felt worried.

The venue has turned out so much better than we imagined, the set up was easy and the staff were amazing beforehand and throughout leaving us stress free and making the day flow so well. Could not recommend Thorpe Garden as a wedding venue more highly. Everyone loved everything about the venue and the food is incredible (especially the Lamb!)

When we first visited Thorpe Garden in 2018 this venue was far from complete. However, coupled with the enthusiasm and support from Tom and Jennie at Thorpe Garden, we all fell in love with this totally unique place and knew that it was perfect for our Wedding in September 2019. We have felt privileged to be part of the Thorpe Garden ‘journey’ and to see everything come together to be the wonderful Wedding Venue it is today. It has to be viewed to be believed. It is a magical place! We are so glad that we chose Thorpe Garden for our Wedding Reception. It was absolute perfection!
Tom and Jennie were always so patient and understanding during our visits and we were very grateful for their expert guidance on all matters which made us feel that you were part of our family and catered for our every whim. We have had many comments from our guests about the delicious food and quality of the wines. Your catering staff were a delight. During the day and evening you were always on hand to ensure smooth running as well as personally looking after the happy couple. We miss our visits now and would like to have the day all over again. We will never forget you all and wish you every success at this amazing venue.

We booked Thorpe Garden when the building work was still being completed. We were sold on the ‘Cripps Wedding Blueprint’ and we were not disappointed! The venue is so beautiful with the greatest attention to the finest details - especially at night with all of the fairy and pontoon lights. The service was great and we had so many compliments on how great the food was. We went for the rotisserie steak and everybody absolutely raved about it! The whole wedding preparation process was so easy because Tom & Jennie are so helpful and the venue comes with a list of trusted suppliers who also did not disappoint. From set-up on the day to collecting everything back in at the end of the evening, we really had to do very little as it was all taken care of. The perfect wedding for us and we wish we could do it all over again.
